Fino Sherry notes: "The Fino Sherry Matured limited edition is a vatting of 12 Fino Sherry Butts. The whisky has spent it’s full maturation in fino casks previously used by Bodega Migual Martin in Spain. During its time in cask, the whisky has taken on the fresh green apple character of fino butts, balancing beautifully with the citrus sweetness, cooked fruits and maritime peat smoke of Kilchoman. Nose: Fresh and floral with plenty of coastal influence. Seaside freshness gives way to tropical fruit, light citrus and malty sweetness. Palate: Juicy tropical fruit and heavy earthy pet smoke combine with chili heat, lemon zest and a creamy, malty sweetness. Finish: Long and bold with heavy peat smoke, cashews and almonds with the dry saline influence of the fino coming forward."
