WHAT IS BIODYNAMIC?

Standards of biodynamic farming are certified by Demeter association (It’s international certifying body) created by Rudolph Steiner (1861-1925). Biodynamics are a symbiotic relationship between ecological and spiritual principals. Bringing together self-sustainable vineyard practices, minimal environmental impact and organic wine making techniques.

WHAT IS NATURAL WINE?

No certifiable definition but rather a counter to the largely mass produced manipulated commodity wine industry.  To put it simply, natural wine combines the qualities of both organic and biodynamic farming practices as well as a minimalist approach to wine making.  Highlighted by no added sulfur.

WHAT IS ORGANIC WINE?

The practice of farming and wine making without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. Must ferment with organic yeasts and can’t add sulfur. Wines labeled “made with organic grapes” only need to fulfill the farming aspect of organic not the wine making.
